For those of you keeping track (no, not a pun though I’d be lying if I weren’t tempted), we’ve already announced Björn Ekelund of ST-Ericsson and John C. Havens of Porter Novelli as Keynote speakers for this year’s insideAR conference. I’m pleased to also announce today the addition of CEO and Creative Director of Vertigore Games, Josh Shabtai.
Josh is a game designer, new media strategist, musician and writer obsessed with discovering new applications for old communication vehicles. He was responsible for the fantastically developed Star Wars Arcade: Falcon Gunner, and continues to create great mobile gaming experiences that use 360 degree views, user environments, and licensed pop-culture memorabilia (if he’s lucky- and he has been). The title of his address is “Augmented Reality Games and how they will Change the Gaming Industry” and here’s a brief description:
Nintendo, Sony and mobile device manufacturers started to integrate AR-games into their strategy. But how will Augmented Reality influence the gaming industry and what will be possible with future devices?
Once again, stay tuned to hear all the great details about insideAR 2011, whether it’s Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn- we’ve got all sorts of news to roll out.
